NAMPA, Idaho — Central Washington picked up where it left off on Friday night for its second straight victory in Idaho on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Asher Cai led the way as the Wildcats took an early lead and cruised to an 86-62 victory over Stanislaus State. Cai hit two 3-pointers to help Central take a 17-3 lead and scored 20 of his game’s 24 points in the first half while shooting 6 of 9 from beyond the arc.

Back-to-back buckets by Schow ended another 9-0 run to stretch Central’s lead to 29 points late in the third quarter. Richardson-Thornley said Schow gave the Wildcats the boost they needed after halftime to secure a solid following for Friday night’s 84-63 win. California state east bay.
