Marking the latest step in the brand’s global expansion since 2015, the new store is the brand’s 18th in France in general, in his fifth city.
The store, strategically located in the Saint Genis 2 shopping mall, which attracts six million visitors a year, extends 200mtwo and is wheelchair accessible, with spaced shelves 1.4m apart for easy navigation. The store layout is divided into MINISO licensed themed collections such as We Bare Bears, Disney, Minions and Toy Story, allowing shoppers to discover old favorites and new collections all in one exciting and engaging visit.
One day before the inauguration, the renowned musician, actor and co-founder of MINISO, Ariel Wizmann, made an appearance in the store. The opening day was greeted with enthusiasm, with the first 100 customers collecting MINISO-branded goody bags and cupcakes as a token of appreciation. The opening ceremony was attended by jonathan sibonifounder of Luxurynsight and co-founder of MINISO France, and CEO of MINISO France, Nicholas King.

MINISO opened its first store in France in Paris in October 2020. Two years later, the retailer now has stores in five cities: Paris; lilac; Nantes; Calais; Y lyons. At MINISO France, plush toys are the best sellers both in store and online. Toys, gifts and stationery have also been the main contributors to sales in recent years.
