The new store will be the third location in the state to serve REI members and outdoor enthusiasts.
SEATTLE, June 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Outdoor Specialty Retailer REI Cooperative will open a new store in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina in the fall of 2022. The location will offer a wide variety of clothing, gear and experience for camping, biking, running, working out, hiking, paddling, climbing and more. For those venturing out on two wheels, a full-service bike shop will be staffed by certified mechanics.
“We hope to open a third store in South Carolina and be a resource for REI members and the wider outdoor community in and around mount nice,” said jackie harp, regional director of REI. “Our local team will also seek partnerships with nonprofit outdoor organizations to support their efforts in protecting natural places and welcoming more people outdoors.”
