In a lengthy note, Ella Haasan shared that she is experiencing the “worst hormonal imbalances,” yet she refuses to see her situation as a fight. According to the renowned star, she has decided to tackle her bloating and metabolic challenges as a ‘natural move’ that will involve her eating well, sleeping well and enjoying her workout.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a hormonal disorder, common among women of reproductive age that causes prolonged or infrequent menstrual periods and excessive levels of androgens. As a result of the syndrome, the ovaries tend to develop numerous collections of fluid that fail to relay eggs at regular intervals. According to the World Health Organization, more than 116 million women (3.4%) worldwide are affected by PCOS. On the other hand, endometriosis is a painful disorder in which the tissues that normally line the inside of the uterus grow outside the uterus.
