ESPN continues its unmatched commitment to hockey with more than 640 games on the ESPN and ESPN+ networks during the 2022-23 NCAA men’s and women’s ice hockey seasons. The lineup features exclusive coverage of the NCAA postseason culminating in exclusive presentation of the NCAA men’s and women’s Frozen Four championship events.

ESPN+ will broadcast more than 600 games on the platform with matchups from the ECAC Hockey, Hockey East and Ivy League conferences. This year marks the start of a new six-year rights deal with Hockey East, which features more than 300 men’s and women’s games annually, including the Hockey East Women’s Tournament Championship. ESPNU will also present a pair of Big Ten matchups in prime time in February.

Strong college roster on ESPN+ further establishes the platform as the “Home of Hockey,” including exclusive NHL games, NHL PowerPlay on ESPN+every match of the First Hockey Federation (PHF) and more.

The men open the game on ESPNU on Wednesday, November 23, when No. 18 Notre Dame travels to Boston to take on No. 14 Boston University in the inter-conference matchup. matvick clay Y Raycroft will call the game for the 5 pm start.

ESPN’s 2022 slate of games concludes with a men’s city rivalry game between No. 14 BU and Boston College. ESPN #Cawledgehockey Lead Vocals John Buccigross and BU alum Colby Cohen will call the Dec. 9 game on ESPNEWS (7 pm ET).

Network games return in February 2023 with two men’s Big Ten matchups before women’s hockey’s Eastern Championship takes center ice in March on ESPNU. The season will conclude with men’s and women’s Frozen Four games on ESPN networks with lead analyst teams from Buccigross, barry melrose and Cohen, along with Matvick, AJ Mleczko Y Hillary Knight.

The women’s semifinal games begin on Friday, March 17, and the NCAA Championship begins on Sunday, March 19, from Amsoil Arena in Duluth, Minn. (ESPN+, ESPNU).

The men begin their postseason play on Thursday, March 23, and conclude with the Frozen Four semifinal games on Thursday, April 6, and the NCAA Championship on Saturday, April 8 from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. (ESPN2).
